Environment, Innovation & Design
In this urbanizing world, we often tend to deviate from our roots of Culture and Heritage which has a direct impact on our environment, the community we share, the mother earth we call home. Not everyone feels a connection with their culture, as over time its importance, its value is fading with this uprising of innovative modernism. What is it all about environmental heritage and roots that draws people to it? Some or many may think ancient practices which are no longer interesting or important, with these uprising tech and innovations, but in reality, all of it has its roots from one source, ENVIORNEMENT. It has created the human race.
Elaborating the expression of heritage and environment on the built form is usually the unconscious effort of every designer. Putting together in simpler terms, Environment plays a dominant role at the very outset of any design process. This is because, any design when conceptualized to perform the desired function, is directly or indirectly derived from or synchronized with the nature`s identity. The very essence of every built form is the manifestation of environment masked behind its layers of abstraction.
Environment, Innovation and Design can never be perceived in isolation. Over the years environmental innovations have molded the way structures have been designed across. Not only religious, ritualistic, or spiritual structures, but also the whole urbanization is a direct result of influence from environmental forms. Few areas in the same line, there has been environmental negligence with the growth of modern innovations.
Instead, creating blockages for environment with the growth of modern innovations and raising urbanizations, as a whole human race, can we keep our roots intact and all together decrease complications for mother earth which we call our home.
